From the dawn of creation, the first man was endowed with a complete divine nature, embodying immense potential, a clear purpose, and vibrant creativity. However, due to his rebellion against his Creator's instructions, these three vital aspects — his potential, purpose, and creativity were significantly diminished.

POTENTIAL: His potential was the full capacity bestowed upon him by his Maker to grow, flourish, and fulfill the divine plan. As the first human, he was endowed with the ability to reflect his Maker's image and exercise dominion over creation. However, his failure to adhere to the divine instructions altered this plan, diminishing his potential and distancing him from the fullness of life his Maker intended. His fall brought about limitations, resulting in physical decay and spiritual separation from his Maker.

PURPOSE: He was created with a distinct purpose: to steward the earth, nurture its fruitfulness, expand its abundance, and maintain the space entrusted to him. His role was deeply connected to his relationship with his Maker and the care of creation. However, after his fall and failure to adhere to the instructions given, this purpose became distorted. The harmony between him and his divine mission was shattered, turning what was once a joyful responsibility into a burdensome task filled with toil and hardship.

CREATIVITY: His creative nature was a direct reflection of his Maker's own creativity. He possessed the ability to innovate, name all creatures, and cultivate the earth. This creativity was a fundamental aspect of his divine image. However, after his fall and failure to follow the given instructions, this creative power became tainted. Though he retained the ability to create, the purity of his creativity was compromised, resulting in both the beauty and brokenness evident in the world today.
